Rizwan Farooqi

Biography

Rizwan Farooqi has more than 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and works as regional head of Middle East & Africa for a Canadian Company and is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Throughout his career, Rizwan has served in leadership roles overseeing a large portfolio of oil and gas processing plants in the Middle East and Africa markets. He held executive business development, applications, and engineering management positions in Canada, Singapore, Vietnam, Pakistan, and now in UAE. Rizwan holds an MBA degree with a specialization in Natural Resources & Energy from the University of Alberta, Canada. He also has two undergraduate degrees including civil engineering from UET Lahore. Rizwan has extensively researched emissions and climate control-related issues and has several research papers published with the University of Alberta’s Centre for Business Research.
