The Diabetes Centre (TDC), is a not-for-profit state–of–the–art healthcare facility located in Islamabad, Phulgran Stop (Near Toll Plaza, Murree Express-way), established under section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 of Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The aim of The Diabetes Centre is to provide high-quality medical care to our valuable patients. Our skilled team support running, managing, and maintaining hospitals, clinics, operation theatres, diagnostic centres, and indoor and outdoor treatment facilities in all over Pakistan, mainly for diabetes and generally for other diseases on subsidized rates.
Our Hospital is certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) and has received tax exemption status from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Currently, TDC is a registered charity at the Charity Commission of the UK and Wales, a recognized project with Emirates Red Crescent UAE, and an applicant for charity registration in the USA.
Our expert physicians, specialists and nurses caring thousands of patients on daily basis. TDC is Pakistan's first dedicated hospital that treats diabetes and all its related complications which include (but are not limited) to ophthalmology (Eye Care), nephrology, dialysis unit, cardiovascular, male health, orthotics, podiatrist and foot-related issues, under one roof, irrespective of the patient's ability to pay.
The beautiful layout of the hospital building is designed by a professional team of architects which brings a more comfortable and peaceful environment for the patients, their families, and our doctors.
TDC provides compassionate and value-based treatment and our mission is to become a global leader in improving the lives of people with diabetes. Our Clinics in Islamabad and Lahore, function under an autonomous board of directors consisting of professionals with the highest moral and professional integrity.
The hospital is serving all patients regardless of race, religion, socioeconomic status, or geographic location. Our aim is to alleviate human suffering related to diabetes and its complications among those least able to withstand the burden of the disease. TDC aims to keep creating state-of-the-art solutions that make a difference, directed and run by internationally recognized specialists and equipped with the most advanced medical technologies and facilities.

The Diabetes Centre (TDC), has taken on the challenge of dealing with the epidemic of diabetes sweeping through Pakistan, and believes that we have a significant role to play in diabetes awareness, education, and health care delivery. We intend to be a more responsive, accountable, and transparent organization that offers comprehensive services to fight and beat diabetes by developing the capacity to train caregivers (physicians, nurses, medical technicians and dietitians) inappropriate ways, and enabling all methods of educating the patient and the public at large. Mr. Meesaq Arif is a sound professional having 39 years of diversified experience in Administration, Human Resource management, financial management, Information Technology management, outreach and awareness, and Intellectual Property Rights management. He has served in the public and private sector, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations, army & aviation, academia, and cooperatives. He has done an MBA from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), a Master's in project management from SZABIST, and a Senior management course from the National School of Public Policy.
