After doing his FSc from a prestigious Govt college Lahore in 1976, he was selected to the prestigious King Edward College in 1977, now a medical University He did his MBBS in 1983. - He has widespread experience in general and orthopedic surgery in prestigious tertiary care hospitals like Mayo Hospital Lahore. Has been a district surgeon in a heavily attended hospital for many years. After being endorsed by Air headquarters he has served as an additional surgeon to Pakistan Air Force Base Hospital Mianwali for many years as a consultant surgeon covering routine surgery to air crashes. He is a specialist foot care surgeon at the diabetes centre at Islamabad.
